Zafarr is one of my more darker characters. He was once a peaceful, happy dragon, enjoying life with his mate (Who he was deeply in love with). And also one of the best warriors of all the dragons. Life was perfect... all that ended when his once so called friend Netamu envied his perfect life and beautiful mate, so he decided to change all that. One night he tricked Zafarr and ambushed him, he also tricked a pack of wild Morlock Beasts to help him slaughter Zafarr and his mate. Zafarrs love sadly died, but Zafarr was just barely alive when a young scientist named Selina found his body (Or what was left of it) and took him to her lab and replaced all his missing organs, limbs, tissue, everything with cold metal and other mechanical gadgets and was able to save him. After Zafarr became conscious again he remembered what happened and became full of sorrow and depression for the loss of his love. But sorrow turned into rage and he vows he will get his revenge and won't rest until he does. And he'll cut down anyone in his way...

Later on Selina becomes a close friend to Zafarr after his tragedy, even though for the most par Zafarr snaps at her and acts like he doesn't care about her, he really does. She really does care about him and pity's him for all that's happened to him, and tries to reason with him about not going out and killing anyone who dares get in his way of his goal, or putting himself in harms way, but of course, he ignores her and pretty much telling her to mind her own damn business and he has no reason to live anyways. So meanwhile while Zafarr is hunting down his enemy, Selina remembers Zafarr mentioning that before his mate and himself were ambushed, that his mate had a surprise for him, and he never got to see it. Out of curiosity she goes back to where his mate said she had the surprise for him, and was shocked with what she found, in front of her was a red egg, Zafarr's mate's surprise to Zafarr was that he was going to be a father. Trying to find Zafarr as fast as possible with the egg she goes looking for him hoping that knowing this will make him forget revenge, bloodshed, and feeling like his life doesn't matter anymore. Finally when she does find him he's already in battle with Netamu. She yells at him her discovery with it in her hands. Zafarr freezes out of shock, his emotions took over him and he felt like there was a reason again to live. He also felt guilt wash over him for what he's done, meanwhile his enemy Netamu hears this and growls "If that newborn is something also dear to you, I'll just have to kill it too, just like your mate!". Furious, Zafarr finally finished off Netamu, but not out of revenge, he did it out of protecting his newborn.

Later, Zafarr becomes conflicted about being a father, he feels he's too much of a monster to raise a hatchling, but Selina points out that he does have a heart and he is not a monster. And the hatchling needs his real father. Zafarr realizes she's right and decides to raise the hatchling. So to make sure he doesn't accidentally harm his newborn, he has his deadly sharp knives removed off his robotic left arm which is replaced with a more normal claws. In the end he becomes a caring, loving, protective father. Even though his body is broken and most of it replaced by metal, his heart is healed and whole again, thanks to his youngling.
