I always wanted to make my own version of a Shinigami rather then making them like in other animes (Death Note, Bleach, etc.).This is Karasu, he's part Shinigami and part Asian Lung. His mother was a Shinigami and his father is the King of Dragons. Sadly, his mother was murdered by a pack of Oni (Oni are demonic like creature). Karasu can turn into his human form and his Asian Lung form at will. He fights and slays Oni with his massive scythe Ibara. Karasu is about 262 years old, but in human years he's about in his early twenties. He can live forever as long as he doesn't get killed. But weapons from Earth have no effect on him.

There's a great war between the Oni and the Shinigami, the Oni's world is a dead planet since the Oni are foul, destructive beings, detroying everything like Locusts on a field. Now they want a new planet, and thats planet Earth. The Shinigami are trying everything to keep them from entering through the gateway from the Oni's planet to Earth. For now the Gateway is shut, though, sometimes some Oni slip through and thats when it's up to the Shinigami to slay them, the only way to permanently open or lock the gateway is to find "The chosen one", only one human possesses the key inside of them to shut or open the gateway. When the Shinigami king found out who was the chosen one, a young lady named Sora, he sends Karasu to protect her since Karasu is one of the best Shinigami fighters and also is part dragon. After a while Karasu and Sora become good friends, but later on they start having feelings for each other. Karsu will stop at nothing to protect her from the Oni and finding the Gateway to lock it permanently before the Oni unlock it first. And also to protect the women that he loves.
